Agree on the details, price and payment between you. Otiux takes no commission and never handles the money.

Other platforms add 10-15% on top of the price. On Otiux you pay only the stay, directly to the host.

- Check availability for your dates before unlocking the contact — taken days are marked.
- Read the guest verdicts on the listing before paying for the contact.
- Check the photos and the guest count — make sure they match what you need.
- Don't send big deposits (over ~$15) to listings with no guest verdicts yet. Pay calmly, directly with the host, once you've confirmed everything.
The price you set is the price you keep.
A guest pays one credit to see your contact. From there you talk directly and settle it however suits you — cash, transfer, whatever you both use. Otiux never stands between you and never touches the money.
List your place — freeOn another platform: the guest pays ~$80 (with fees), you get ~$57 (after ~18% commission). On Otiux: you set $70, the guest pays $70, you get $70. Or set $67 — the guest pays less and you still earn more than $57. Everybody wins.
Payment never goes through Otiux. We're a directory, not a processor — we don't touch the money and withhold nothing. You have full control over your earnings, directly with the guest. Each host is responsible for their own tax obligations, per the law.
